The
road goes through important communities for the agricultural
economy, such as Las Maravillas, Betania, Estrada, San
Miguel, San Marta and El Jobo.
The
Head of MOPT, Karla González, said that the new road
has the curbs, bridges and sewer passage almost ready,
and it is in the process of the vertical and horizontal
signaling of the route.
Pending. The Major of
Hojancha, Juan Rafael Marín Quirós, indicated that the
following phase is in the bidding process, this is the
asphalt of 10 kilometers between Lajas and Hojancha,
with a cost of ¢2.500 millions.
The neighbors
of the coastline communities 27 de Abril, Las Delicias,
Río Seco, Paraíso, Junquillal, Los Pargos, Avellanas,
Playa Negra and Callejones will have a totally asphalted
route.
The street will have bike lanes and will
be the second one in the country that has a lane for
pedestrians and for bicycles; the first one is in Caldera.
The
asphalt of this road, of 13.2 kilometers and a cost
of ¢3.900 millions, began in February and it will be
finished in August.
"The tourists can get
to the beaches by roads where the development is in
its best momentum", said Mauricio Céspedes, Executive
