On September 1st, 1 974, Alamo Rent a Car began operations serving four Florida locations and from there, Alamo expanded throughout U.S.A., Canada and Europe.

In Costa Rica, Alamo Rent a Car started operations on January 1st, 1 999.

Alamo Rent a Car in Costa Rica has more than one thousand two hundred cars for rent, divided in ten different categories of cars. All the cars are from recent models (no more than twenty four months old), and all of them are Air Conditioning.
